Hello! I was majorly pleased with myself on Thursday for pushing on when I was ready to collapse (within the first quarter of the run!) but I completed it! I'm due to do W1R2 today but my legs are in agony. I'm walking around like John Wayne. Should I push through this and do the second run today or should I be giving myself another rest day? If I do it today would it actually help with the Wayne walk or make it worse?! Thanks in advance for any advice!

I would leave Run2 for a day but you can do a gentle walk. Show off your cowboy gait for the joy of the neighbours 😆
Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...
and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.
I would take at least an extra rest day, but keep moving, hydrate as suggested, warm up with a brisk walk and stretch immediately after your run.
Enjoy your journey.
Well done “Wayne Walk”😂😂have another day off ... sometimes it’s not always possible to keep to every other day 😊you will find R2 far more enjoyable I’m sure ! I shall think of you next time I’m struggling and hopefully the picture of a “Wayne Walk” in my mind will make me smile and see me through 😊
