Just completed run 1 of week 1 π€ Please tell me Iβm not the only person who stopped about 5/10 seconds before the beast of a trainer told me to stop. Actually now Iβm seated I loved it

Iβm really sorry, but I love your profile pic! π³π³π³
You got out there and did it, that is the most important thing... you have started your journey!
A few (short) weekβs ago I started week 1 - am now running for 28 minutes... (think Iβm chasing after Michael J - come back!) I have no idea how mind, but the program it just takes you along, gradually increasing, building stamina and confidence in yourself...
This forum is amazing, weβve all of us started at week one and every day you read of peoples progress, itβs just lovely
You CAN do this! Good Luck!
Welcome and well done π
I've just completed week 7, run 3 and when I look back I genuinely think the first run was the hardest. I've never been a runner, I always believed I couldn't run so I was shocked to finish the first run, I was even more shocked when I decided to do the second haha! Now I look forward to it, and I know I will graduate. I swear every time the coach said "well done, you're doing great" on the first run she meant "you're not dead yet, keep at it!" Haha. Well done on completing the first run!
Go you! We have all been there from the beginning when we thought 5 mins seemed impossible but somehow the programme works its magic and before you know it youβre running for half an hour! The mantra on here is slow slow slow... itβs not a race itβs about stamina. So take it easy and enjoy! I canβt wait to hear how proud you are when you finish week 1 ready for the next challenge ππΌ

Well done on starting π hardest runs are the first ones.. Iβve tried this programme so many times and gave up at week 5. This time Iβm really enjoying it.. set my alarm to get out every other day and Iβm running my last run of week 6 tomorrow!! Physically and mentally itβs amazing!! Good luck and enjoyβΊοΈ
I messed that first run up big style. The app crashed or reset part way through, so I was trying to set timers on my phone whilst trying not to be sick. Seems ages ago now and Iβm only at the end of week 2 today.
Starting to really get to like the program.
Everything is relative to the individual and if you stopped a bit early then that is ok. The point I'm making is that a). You are doing it and b). You completed the first run. Focus on that and you'll sail through. Well done for starting. Awesome.
It doesn't matter if you stopped 5/10 s earlier than you should have. You're having A go. It's all about progress, baby steps ππππ»
This is the start of a journey. Remember when you were at school and you were learning something new? Remember trying to ride a bike for the first time or a scooter? Not easy was it? Well, don't worry about little setbacks, they happen every day and we take very little notice of them.
You have started a journey that I hope you will continue and as daunting as it seems at first, it is doable. We started in mid to late 60's and took a gap year due to illness. Had to start again from week 4 to get us back up. When I look back two years + ago and that first run, it nearly killed me. You WILL be able to do it. You CAN complete C25K. You have already taken the hardest step.
When we first started, we were slow, ungainly and bright red. We were doing out little run and a guy came past us as we ran. As he passed he shouted back to us "Well done guys, keep it up"! That was the best encouragement we could have had. Remember, when you are running, you ARE a runner! Welcome to the club and keep on keeping on.
Well done for getting out there! I remember thinking I'd die doing the 60 sec run. Now I'm in week 9 and loving it! Keep on keeping on!
ππ½ππ½!! Go you!! Well done. π₯π₯π₯ And more loving it ahead too!! ππ½ππ½ππ½β€οΈ
Well Done on your first run πππ I started on Monday and found myself doing the same thing π Since then I read the articles and watched a few of the videos and now I'm running slower and drinking loads of water - it seems to be working - I've just done W1R3 and I'm doing it comfortably - now I'm loving it ...... π
Well done! Iβve just finished run2 of week 1 and it was most definitely easier than the first! Weβve got this πͺπΌ
Well done for getting out there. You have started now...well done. ππ»ββοΈπ£
