Week 8, run 1 was great, a solid 28 minutes under my belt! Getting closer to graduation has me thinking what I should be doing after the 9 weeks. Does anyone have any suggestions for running plans after this one?

When you announce your graduation I will send you a link to a guide to post C25k running.

If you cannot wait, it is sitting in the FAQ Posts, which you will find in the Pinned Posts.

The running world is your oyster... use the next few months of consolidation to really think about what you where you want to go with your running. Common goals are

- achieve 5k if C25K didnt get you there

- extend to 10k and beyond

- start going to Parkruns (when they start up again)

- improve your 5k times

etc etc

But first... consolidate .

Hope that helps,

John

I’m very excited for the future. I managed 6.9k over the whole 38 minutes so I imagine I’m probably quite close to 5k in half an hour anyway, but I think I’m going to download an app like Strava or something to actually monitor. Thanks for the tips, I’ll get my thinking cap on. 🤔

There's info in the pinned posts..

After graduation 30 min runs should be consolidated for a few weeks, then you you may feel like going further for a few more minutes, so gradually taking you towards 5km distance..

It's up to you, as long as you're getting in your 30 min runs there's no rush..

Perfect. So probably just re-listening to week 9 for a few weeks. Thanks for the advice 😊
