Frustrating run

So Week 6 is here. I was buzzing although a bit wary too having read lots of posts about this run. I set off with my favourite duo, Laura to guide me, Cerys Matthews to set the pace with her beautiful blues grooves. Warm up walk, first 5 minute run, going smoothly, although it did feel tougher than last week. Psyched up for the 8 minute stint, I start jogging at my usual sluggish but steady pace. Laura tells me I've done 4 minutes, and she knows I can do it, keep going! And I keep going. 2 or 3 blues tracks later, feeling quite exhausted, I realise Laura's not coming back so I do a long cool down walk.

The app had stopped in the middle of the second run 😭. So frustrating. But hey ho, never mind, it was a good workout, made me feel good physically. Did some stretching yoga with Adriene and now feeling quite serene.

I'm doing Week 6 Run 1 (again but properly, fingers crossed) on Wednesday.

PS I mostly run in my garden, which I share with 3 cheeky squirrels...
