Whoop whoop! Graduated!

Run 9.3 in the bag and done. Only got to 4K in the 30 minutes but wanted to make sure I finished, and didn’t have the confidence to increase my pace early on. Consolidation running next where 5k is the target (no time cap). When I started in March, just after lockdown, this seemed a long way away - it’s flown by! All you guys just getting off the couch for the first time - stick with it, it’s worth it. :-)

It really does work. Just take it easy, rest when you need to and listen to your body. I’m going to be looking out to see you when you finish it! :-)

🍾🥂 Congratulations 🥂🍾

Such a good feeling to finish that last run.

And you've got absolutely the right attitude re: 5k. You have so many options now.

Consolidation is key for the next few weeks and then you can chose what you want to do next.

Well done

Mig

Thanks Mig, I enjoyed it sooo much. It was nice and controlled and I know I could have probably pushed more - but then I realised they’ve delayed the Olympic Games so I have time to get quicker! 😂😂

Thank you Alys, had a knee op back at the start of March so I’m well chuffed to be running again. :-)

Wow that’s even more amazing!! I have got to week 7 and have a very sore knee ( stupidly carried on to end of week7-1 run despite the knee pain getting pretty bad-what a twit!) I now can’t run at all- but had a little whizz round the country side on my road bike this morning which was very enjoyable!!

I’ve been super cautious with it. Pre-stretching, post stretching, ice and strengthening exercises on my rest days. So far, touch wood, it seems to be fine. The next few weeks will tell...🤞
