Tried a different route today and I really enjoyed it. Fewer people around. Found running 3 extra minutes quite challenging & I'm definitely getting slower but the main thing is I did it!

Great job... and there’s nothing wrong with getting a little slower, in fact I’d say it’s the right thing to be doing. Ive set off on another running plan, my long run will be creeping up by about half a mile a week and it’ll be taken at a slower pace than my other runs!
3 minutes extra is just over 10% added to your endurance level so it’s going to be challenging. Running will offer you many challenges over the years, just keep beating them like you are now and there’s no limit to what you can do.
Brilliant , you are so close . I had to slow down too , it was the best decision . I found music at 148 BPM helped me remain at a steady pace . Whatever you decide to do , you will be saying - YES very soon . 🏃♀️
