C25kb450 Wk8R1 HARD, HARD work, even with Adam and the Ants!

Found it really hard, and really stiff today (unusually)! Reckon its down to wheezy chest from cough, and going mid-afternoon, only an hour after lunch. Never gone that time of day before. I made it but the 14-20 mins bit I was running so slowly I was practically in reverse! Saw two elderly people walking ahead of me and did actually wonder if I could overtake them. Last 8 mins it was ok again. Slowed down at end, punched the air and suddenly realised there was a car driving slowly behind me waiting for me to get out of the way, with driver and passenger laughing at me (in what I like to think was a supportive way)! Then felt suddenly emotional and teary. What a weird and wonderful world of c25k eh!

PS. Adam and the Ants effect wearing off a little, I need to download some other 80s jolliness.

Your post really made me laugh - especially the air punch with spectators!! I also remember a few teary moments myself! Well done, graduation is in sight so keep up the hard work☺I was also very repetitive in my song choices at that stage: Kate Bush "Running up that Hill" was a firm favourite of mine! Still have it on a few playlists☺

Glad I amused! I did have a laugh to myself about the spectators :-)

Shame there isn't a way to share playlists on this forum. Running up the Hill and other people's fave running tunes would be great to share :-)

So brilliant...made me really smile.:)

Well done you... running, ( even with a cough and chestiness...naughty! ), singing along with Adam ..AND entertaining the general public..What a star :)

That whole reverse running..yeah, it really feels like that doesn't it?

So nearly there, but... please, be careful,, do not push it if you feel grotty.. promise me?

Slow and steady :)

Hey Bels, think I replied to you on the other thread but given that I'm losing my mind, I'm not sure, so will post here too ;) Well done! Great run under your belt, air punch in style and you deserve a good blub for 28 mins success and a random supportive stranger giggle.... so full house!!! :)

Not sure about Adam and the Ants, but Take That's Never Forget is a good one... And Eye of the Tiger! X
