Hi all. Am wondering if any of you are doing this have AF. I am on medication to keep my heart rate stable and whole doing the session, I'm fine. But as the weeks progress I feel my heart beat increase in the early hours of the morning after the run day. It goes back to normal after about an hour. Has anyone else experienced this? Any advice welcome.

For the most part we are not medically qualified and your question is far better to be asked of someone who knows your medical history and is suitably qualified to respond.

Take care.

Thank you, have managed to get some advice this evening from my brother who is an advanced paramedic. He says it's OK to carry on so that's good news!

I’m sure as you have been diagnosed with AF that you know all about it, but my husband had AF for several years (had a successfully ablation 2 years ago). He found it was always worse if he wasn’t well hydrated, I think because your electrolytes get out of whack, so that’s something to bear in mind. Good luck x

Thank you for your advice, hadn't thought of that so will make sure I stay well hydrated at all times. Thanks again.
