Hi Everyone, I have completed Couch to 5k but my running is so slow it takes me 50 minutes to run it, when the app says 30 minutes. Any advice on how to do it in the 30 minutes it should be run in - i cannot seem to be able to go any quicker!

The point of the c25k is to run for 30 minutes 3 times per week, you are doing it for longer so we'll done.

The aim isn't to run 5k in 30 minutes..

Well done you 👍👍👍

I hope you are consolidating by doing 3x 30 minutes a week.

If wanting to speed up is your aim, then have a look at the C25K+ podcasts: Speed, Stamina, Stepping Stones. They are a good start to your next journey.

If you're completing the run, no slow is too slow!

It's all fine. You don't have to run 5k - eventually you will, but putting pressure on yourself can be quite negative. Perhaps concentrate on enjoying your runs and you will get there!

Wow you can run nonstop for 50 minutes. That’s amazing, we’re trying to run for 30 minutes nonstop. You’re amazing 😉 🤩

Running for 50 minutes straight is an achievement in and of itself, you should be proud, I know I would be! :)
