Finally did W4R1!

After years and multiple attempts at doing this programme of which the furthest I got to was week 3. I can now say I did W4R1!! It went smoothly as well, apart from the last 5 mins of running where the stitch from hell decided to appear but I'll need to work on that. But I'm so happy I did it and I can see why people are addicted to running. I'm itching to do R2! Sorry for the ramblings

Welcome to the forum and well done on conquering your nemesis.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Stitch can be caused by poor hydration, so pay special attention to that.

Enjoy your journey.
