Wowza, after 3 attempts at Couch to 5k over a year period, it looks like tomorrow could be my graduation day 🎉. Previous attempts have been foiled by feet pain problems, however with some rest, and in current times not ‘using them’ much, I’ve been able to get back on the programme.
Lurking and reading others’ posts have really helped, the community on here being very positive, with such good support and cheer to all. It’s been really informative and has inspired me to continue. So thanks to all those that post and respond, you may not realise it but your words of encouragement are supporting more than just the original poster.
Strangely, I now look forward to each run, which prior to lockdown I didn’t. Isn’t it unusual the effect of having your usual activities curbed? I really do believe that getting out and running 3 times a week recently has kept my mental health well and my journey through these COVID times could have been so different without.
Thanks forumites.
