One of the best things I learned from this forum: go slow and then slow down more. Keep calm, go slow and know that the programme has trained you to be able to do this.

Stay focused! You can do it, fatigue is only in the kind and think about how fantastic you will feel after

I'm also doing this tomorrow. 2 x 8 mins to 20 mins seems like a huge jump but I'm telling myself that 5 weeks ago I thought I was dying after 60 secs! Good luck to all of us going for wk5. We're all in it together!!

I echo your sentiments exactly! Nervous & excited for tomorrow’s 20 minute run, so much so feel prompted to post for 1st time ever! I will be taking the advice to go slowly, then slow down some more. Good luck🤞

You will be fine. You've been training for this and now it's mind over matter. Go for it.

I did it yesterday for the first time too. Just breathe deep and steady, keep focussed on the goal and keep telling yourself during your run to “trust the programme”. Just think how good you will feel when you’ve done it!

Good luck and trust the program, almost everyone on here was apprehensive too, and most of us were so surprised when we completed this run, if in doubt slow down

Hi same here its my 1st attempt at this run tomorrow and have the same feelings. It's will be a massive leap for us when we completed it. Only 10 more minutes to the magic 30min run😊

Hi Wayne yes I did it and felt great afterwards. Today was my first run since Friday as I have been really busy in the garden over the weekend and muscles were really tired. Wk6 run 1 was tougher than I thought but still got there😀
