Didn’t fancy this run today and struggled to find my Rhythm in the first 5 minutes and considered giving up a few times but dug in and got the run completed, never thought I could get to this stage 6 weeks ago so proud to have come this far, nursing my legs now and feeling shattered 👍🏻

You are experiencing the Toxic Ten, which affects all runners to a greater or lesser degree and is why it is not a good idea to push hard at the beginning of a run.

Well done! I did the same today and struggled mentally for first half but kept pushing on and feel so proud of myself now. Now to rest then into wk7!
Well done Maddie, I think it’s all mental now, I spend the time before the run thinking no way can I do that etc then have to talk myself out of wanting to give up while I’m doing it but still manage to get through it, good luck in week 7 👍🏻
