Just went out on another post C25K run and it seemed ALOT harder that the runs during the C25K program. Trying to warm up the same. Keep a decent pace etc. But that run tonight just about floored me and I only did 2.2km. my asthma flared up more than usual until.i had to call it quits.
To be honest I'm probably going a run once a week. Life's a bit hectic at the minute. But it seems like every run since the C25K has been a let down
Anyone else in the same position?

Every run since c25k is a huge success because you did it, remember all the advice? slow down breathe deep and do as much or as little as is comfortable, we do long runs short runs and some runs that are mostly walks, we don’t push hard especially at the moment when there is so much else going on. Don’t put pressure on yourself just get out there when you can and we will smile and say, there you are you can run 😀
I really started to enjoy running when I realised i was in control and could stop if i wanted or just carry on and my year from starting gift to myself was a very slow 8k
I think many people feel a bit lost in the period after graduation; missing the structure and progression of the programme. There is a brilliant guide under the FAQs, and a consolidation club that might be worth joining. I would aim for at least 2 runs a week; the more you do the better it gets. Also maybe set some new goals? You can do this
Running once a week is a massive improvement on sitting on the couch, so go you! 👊
If you like the guidance of the app, you can keep using it, or download the Nike running club app. They have some great guided runs for calm advice and guidance.
Just do whatever you can in these trying times, that's all anyone can ask.
One day soon (🙏) we'll all be out celebrating with the biggest parkrun ever!
I feel the same. I was on such a high finishing the program but struggle to do 30 minutes. I'm still listening to Michael Johnson in the hope I can hold on to that feeling of achievement. Unfortunately I've picked up a sore foot. I had a gait analysis yesterday but of course can't go shopping for new trainers. Being a rookie runner I'm afraid of buying online in case I spend a fortune on the wrong trainers. The analysis guy suggests I go back to 15/20 minutes running til my foot is better. Try and keep motivated, you've done brilliantly to get this far. Well done
I have had some of the same issues. I really struggled to settle into a comfortable pace for some reason. After my 4th gruesome run I tried the Stepping Stones podcast which is one of the C25k+ ones. I found it was just what i needed as it is training on cadence. Maybe check it out?
I'm planning on doing 9x30mins runs before moving on to the 10k training as I prefer a structure to motivate me.
