Hi guys a weird one....but has anyone just done a run at home - within 4 walls??? Problem is childcare. Hubby is arriving home too late for me to go out and leaves too early in the morning. Otherwise I have to leave my run a few days apart worried will effect the program. 😏

You would not be the first to run around inside your house, but to be honest, unless you live in a baronial hall, you are unlikely to ever get up to speed.

As the guide to the plan says, you lose next to no condition in the first two weeks of non running, so spacing your runs out by a few extra days is not going to be a problem.

If you can only get two runs in per week it is better than nothing and if you want to maximise your ability as a runner, then why not do some extra non impact cross training on your rest days, such as Strength and Flex.

Thanks that’s a good idea. I may just do an alternative class online instead. I suppose it will help out too as it raining too 😝

As someone who has had to resort to running on a small terrace here in Spain (total lockdown) then if you are limited to running indoors, then go for it and accept the limitations.

Your heart won't care where you are running - all it knows is that oxygen is required to be pumped around the body.

I saw a video yesterday of a woman running around her apartment - many are having to do it here in Spain, for the moment. Hope you can make something work.
