Six weeks no running

Since the start of lockdown I haven’t been able to get out to complete c25k. I got to w7r1 but now not sure I’ll be able to pick up from there. Any advice on what I should do would be great. I’ve been doing PE with Joe Wicks, Online Zumba classes and been active with kids in the garden so not completely lost fitness.

Maybe just head out for a gentle jogette and see how it goes... the legs will tell you want they feel. Maybe, no particular time in mind.. if all feels well, maybe take it back a week and then see how you go?

You have been keeping up with your exercise, so it may feel easier than you think?

Just got back, went out and managed 18 mins then walked/jogged home. Then jogged in my garden for a few mins. It’s hot out there. Definitely prefer jogging in colder weather.

Well done you.. it is hard at the moment and the important thing is, take your time and just get back to it slowly :)

Hydrate well and I think.. little rain may be on the way :)
