W6R3 was the cure!

W6R3 was looming. I woke up really looking forward to my evening run but a busy day followed and by the time evening came I had hardly eaten anything, was hungry, grumpy and had a banging headache. The Mrs said I should do the run the following day but my determination is such that I saw that as cheating so got into my running gear and off I went. Ten mins into the 25min run and I’ve got a cramp type of pain in my left arch that I thought was going to finish me for the day but managed to run through it. In fact by the halfway point I had fully hit my stride, headache gone, mood improved and had gone from a gentle plod to a decent jog. When the last minute alert was given I had a full on run to a target I chose (30mph sign) in the distance which I reached on the bell. The sense of achievement I got from that run was incredible and I could quite easily have managed another ten mins I recon. Only nine runs to go and I’m Determined to see this through 👊🏽
