Had a lovely run after wimping our yesterday. But oh... still so slow and when I try and speed up feel so heavy on the legs. Maybe I need to work on my technique? Any tips?

Here is pic of the bridge I run across and used to play pooh sticks with my sons.

Well done, but why do you need to be faster?.......the Olympics have been postponed.

Slow runners live longer womensrunning.com/culture/s... .......so why go faster.

Don’t worry about slow Timotea - you won’t be as slow as me (that I can guarantee!) . If your legs are heavy, are you hydrated enough? Just keep plugging away, I’m sure you’ll get there eventually! Happy running!

I don't get this obsession with 'speed'. Speed in our amateur world means that we can get injured faster, that's the only guaranteed thing. Fast is for young and talented pros, fast is running 5K under 13 minutes, the rest is relative. Very relative. Slow makes the run more enjoyable and the body agreeable. And slow keeps the physio away.

Well done. Don’t be hung up on speed just now, your legs are still strengthening - don’t want you on the IC!! Relax and enjoy running in that beautiful place in your photo. ☺️
