Didn’t run yesterday - gave myself another day for my legs to recover. I’m going to tackle my second run ever today. Mustn’t talk myself out of it just get out there, ear phones in and go - send some positive vibes to get me out there.

You’ll do it. I’m 55 4 stone overweight & this be just done week 5 run 2.... good music.... keep breathing & just do it xx

You’re so right - I just did it. Slowed my pace down - as I was running too quickly - felt much better. My breathing was better and my legs haven’t disowned me ! Wow I can’t believe how good it makes me feel.

Don’t stop. I listen to Fleetwood Mac behind the mask album as some songs are the right walking lace and some the right running (slow) page. Find something that works for you and I promise you will be patting yourself on the back before too long. Well done so far!

I like the idea of Fleetwood Mac - love their music. I’ve definitely slowed my pace and everything felt a lot better. I’ve just done W1R3 - and I felt ok - bit apprehensive about week 2 now ! Thanks for the motivational tip !

Week two is not so bad. Don’t bob up and down as this tires you. And take more days rest if you need too I took 4 days once and felt ready to go out again. Good luck
