Thank you so much to the people who posted in her about W5R3. I have never, ever been a runner and was dreading, like really dreading the thought of a 20 minute run. Like some others I thought maybe it was a glitch in the app! I did it yesterday and felt a real sense of achievement. I think the biggest barrier really was in my head. I went slow and just kept putting one foot in front of the other, whilst enjoying my music. I was neither fast, nor pretty but I did it! Thanks to all of you who posted encouraging comments in here (on other people's posts) - I read them the night before; they resonated in my head and kept me going.

Well done 👍 It really is a marvellous feeling doing that 20 minutes 😊

And you're right there is so much help and support to be found on here.

Keep going, trust the program and you'll get there

I found that week hard at first, but you'd run 16 mins in total last week. I find my mind is the battle ground, it keeps telling me i can't do it, but do you know, just keep putting one foot in front of the other... and the sense of achievement is worth it...onwards and upwards.....

I’ve just completed W5R3 and I’m on top of the world! I’ve never run for 20 mins. ‘ one foot in front of the other’ is so true.

It really is a mind game this run- I don’t like being out of my comfort zone so I feel good about that too.
