So it's day 1 for me and I have to admit that 3 of my 60 second runs were probably slower than my walks. Is this normal? I was shattered when I finished and it's only day 1....

Day1
I was exactly the same when I started, I didn’t think I could make it till the end but now I’m on week six and feel great, just keep going and without noticing you’ll be getting stronger, faster and fitter! It really doesn’t matter how fast or slow you go the important thing is just getting out there and doing the run
Well done you on your first run. I bet you felt great after! I started my first today as well but without this app as I have only just been told about it. I thought I was going to die so I am looking forward to actually having something a little more structured rather than just running.
I’ve just completed my day 1 too and it’s made me realise how unfit I really am!! I was exactly the same! It proper exhausted me 😫🤦🏼♀️ Well done for completing though! We can do this!! Xx
It is totally normal, and if all your running bits are slower than your walking pace, that's absolutely fine. The secret to this plan is take it slow, then slow down some more. The pace will slowly come as strength and stamina increase; but for now, just keep taking it slow and steady.
Welcome! At week 2 I don't know what is normal. My first run was like that. What I'm trying to do now is slow down my running. I also repeated the last run of week 1 before going to week 2.
Good luck! Think of soon being able to run for longer you've got this...
