I've just done W8R3 - never thought I would get this far, I've astounded myself!! but what next? I see W9R3 only a week away in my diary - what do I do on 26.4.20??? I need another challenge regime, or I will stop, I know it. Any suggestions?

What to do after W9R3

Keep running 🙂

Cheers! Yeh, keep running, that is just what I want, what I really, really want, but I need targets.

First glance looks really helpful,
so does Placitasgirl's join ParkRun idea, we have one starting locally, as soon as we're allowed back out!
Beachcomber66 pointer to 'Ju-ju's plan' looks really promising
Imc50's simple slogan and smiley helps too!
Many, many Thanks everyone I'm going to combine your suggestions into a bullet point plan after some further research this week, and stick it boldly on the fridge , title 'Keep Running'
Sounds like you're on track and you've nailed together a plan 🙂👍

Why not register for Parkrun if there’s one near you and join in when they restart?Your new challenge could be to keep running 5k regularly & improve your PB over the weeks & months after lockdown.
Cheers!

What I wouldn’t do is to keep doing run after run of a similar length. In the first instance I found it easier to build up distance rather than pace. I flipped over onto the Bridge to 10k, printed off Ju-ju’s plan and followed it. It is based upon one shorter/ quicker run each week, a 5k then a third slower run which builds up week on week to 10k. The same formula, with tweaks took me on to 10 miles and then HM. Building up pace happened separately and later. Park Run helped. It is all about keeping your interest, developing underlying strength and fitness and maintaining a sense of achievement and making new friends, actual and virtual, as you go along. For me, a running watch is a must have if you want to progress. There are many layers to this running lark; you have just peeled back the first one 😊
Cheers!
'Ju-ju's plan' looks really promising, and it's my birthday in May so I will ask my more experienced running buddies for recommendations for watch.

When you post your graduation I will send you a link to a guide to post C25k running.
If you can't wait, it is sitting in the FAQ Posts, which you can find in the Pinned Posts.
Cheers!
