What to do after a break?

Hello all! I was almost finished with week 5 when I was hit with a stomach bug. I've been off the program for 10 days now, and I'm only just now feeling ready to get back in. But that's such a long break, I don't know where to pick up the program. Should I repeat week 4? Just repeat the first two runs of week 5? Has anyone else re-started after a break?

Many of us did. It's unlikely that you lost much of your stamina but start nice and slowly from where you left it. Or repeat the week before. You call the shots, there aren't any rules here, that's the beauty of it all. Do your thing! ;)

Sounds like me I've been wondering the same after a chest infection loss of voice and 2weeks off. Been following lots of posts and been inspired by everyone. After a few days away in the lakes and completing a 9 mile walk tofay I'm going home tomorrow to start week 5 again. See how we go.🤔

I had a cold and 7 days off at week six and just picked up the next run. It was fine. If it doesn't work out, you could go back to the last run that you did. Play it by ear :)

You lose very little condition in a fortnight.

Just carry on, as laid out in the guide to the plan healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

As everyone said, carry on and if needs be you can repeat a week it’s really up to you. I’m on week 7 and I started in January 😂😂

A few weeks off initially due to back problems so I just started over. More recently I’ve picked up where I left off after a week or so. Just go slow and play it by ear 👍👍👍

Many thanks to all who responded. I'll just get back out there and see what happens. :)
