I did it!!! I cannot believe that I have completed Couch25K. I started on January 1st, never believing that I could actually do it as I have always told myself "I am not a runner". Well, apparently I am. However, although I have completed it, I must say I found it so, so hard. I really pushed myself in the last two weeks and although I have completed it, I (only) managed to complete 3.8 km, nowhere near the 5K. Should I now try and run faster or run for longer to enable to complete 5K. My aim is to do a Parkrun. Don't get me wrong, I am very proud of myself, not bad for a 61 year old and I am only five foot.

Well done Chelsea, a great achievement, hope you are enjoying the glow

Slow and steady is the mantra - many of us never got anywhere close to 5k in those first 30 minutes. Just keep getting out there for a 30 minute session 3 times a week and you will be amazed how your stamina and distance improve over time.

Thank you Barbie for your kind and encouraging words. I am a bit shell shocked, still can’t believe I’ve done it.

Hey well done, it’s a great feeling isn’t it 💪I graduated last week with only 3km in the bag .... 30 mins of running achieved though ... enjoy your moment 😊
