Week1, Run 1 advice please?

First time ever running this morning after a serious long term health condition!! Couldn’t manage the full week 1, run 1. What do you do if you haven’t managed to complete the first run? Repeat it until u can master it? Advice needed please, thanks 👍🏻

Yes, always repeat a run if you don’t finish it. Have a day off, then attempt W1R1 again. If it is a real struggle, then adapt W1R1 to suit you. Instead of all 8 running segments, you could plan to run every other one. Once you can do that, gradually add in more runs until you can complete all eight.

C25K makes some assumptions about our basic level of fitness with W1R1, but this does not suit everybody.

and includes the advcie to repeat any session you do not complete and also on pacing............slow down, you are going too fast.

How do I know?

Because everybody does.

This is about stamina, not speed.
