Another Vaccine obtained

I got out and did my maintenance run and achieved another 4 mile or 6.75 km to get a vaccine. It felt hard and cold although I stupidly did my second run of the year in shorts although when I ran the sun had gone down further than I would of liked so it was cold. Fitbit said I was at 82% of peak which I felt I did not have another 18% in reserve.

But you can still get out. Enjoy your running without performance pressures. You're doing great! You really are!

This whole situation is taking a toll I would say don’t worry about targets, just be glad to be out there All the best to you. 👍😄👏🏼

The vaccine was a target I can relatively achieve easily so did. I was just shocked how hard it felt to get there but I did it.

The sun has been deceptive this week, it's much colder out there than it looks. Still, you did it even with cold knees!

Yes I did hopefully you are ok out there in this strange times at present and still managing run?

Thanks yes, I'm overdue a run because of hay fever sinusitis, but otherwise ok. Still running, run-walk, managing 4 lots of 5-minute runs without any problems. Only going twice a week and building up really slowly. Happy with that.

My self walking the old dogs most nights and only running a 5k or thereabouts to just maintain once a week.

It's hard for you when you have the dogs too, but 5k is pretty good considering. Hopefully that will keep you ticking over. Like you said, maintenance runs. 👍

Thanks Grumpyoldgirl still staying around or just under the 30 mins for 5k so pretty pleased to stay maintaining and healthy.
