So wfh today left me angry and frustrated after dealing with a slow system and idiots all day so 5.30pm came work finished, I had 2 choices beer or a run. with some some banging tunes - Nirvana, foo fighters, Neckdeep and all time low to name a few playing in my ears I found I had run 4.76miles (this distance included a 5 min warm up walk).

Never really noticed the increase in distance and happy with the time too.

To all out there on the C25k - keep going how ever hard you find it. The plan will get you there to the 30mins or 5k which ever you are aiming for.

Stay safe all !

Nothing like a run to get rid of tension and the memory of a frustrating day! Good work. 👍 Hope you have lots of space to run in at the moment - runners have been given a bad rap re: social distancing lately; I make sure I am giving walkers etc at least 6 metres distance where I can!

Hope that you have a better work day today, and so pleased that you have running as an outlet - a good run with music you love is the best.

When I were a girl, the Readers Digest in the dentist waiting room always had a section called 'Laughter is the best medicine' that I would peruse whilst nervously waiting my turn.

I think that perhaps running trumps laughter after a stressful day, although if you laugh whilst running that could be double bubble :)

Brilliant you choose to run! Would help with frustration bette then beer and leave you feeling good not hung over. Thanks for advice. My next run is week 2 run1

Thanks for the inspiration! Did my first run yesterday and my thighs are complaining today, even though I made sure to stretch out afterwards! Having said that, I loved it and felt great afterwards, so onwards and upwards!
