It’s taken my Hubbie and I a lot longer than 5 weeks to reach this point but we have been taking it at our own pace repeating weeks/runs when we didn’t feel ready to move on. But after repeating Run 2 for this week 4 times we decided today to ‘bite the bullet’ and go for it with Run 3.
I’m sitting here now feeling really proud of what we have achieved today because we DID IT. It wasn’t easy the last few minutes especially were quite hard but we got there and feel now that we will definitely complete the programme. Now
actually looking forward to moving on to Week 6 on Friday - we’re on the home strait at last.

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃🏾 😊
Yesterday I did Wk 6 run 2 which was tough but I’m dreading tomorrow’s runs. I’m not a runner at all and 4 St over weight. Not sure weather to redo the last run or just go for it
I did the first two runs in Week 6 on my own as Hubbie was suffering from a slight intercostal muscle strain but as he’s now feeling better we’re going to repeat them before moving on to the 3rd run.
I’d say listen to your body, if you really struggled with Run 2 then I’d perhaps repeat it before moving on we’ve done that with whole weeks sometimes as after all it isn’t a race we’re taking it at our own pace and we’ll get there in the end - that’s the important thing.
Good luck anyway for when you do take on Run 3 and I’m sure you’ll go on to finish the whole programme now you’ve got this far.
