Enjoyed the first week, read and re-read all of the advice which has undoubtedly helped me stick to this programme. Am aware of my nervousness but your posts keep me engaged with the process and I feel part of a family. I do have a niggling elastic band feeling around the outside of both knees, I'm keeping up the strengthening any other advice?

Hi I may have written it wrongly but I was wondering about the elastic band feeling around my knee is this the iliotibial band? Hoping stretches and strengthening exercises will help

The iliotibial band runs up the outside of you leg from hip to below the knee (from ilium to tibia) and it is a common cause of knee issues, so you are doing the right thing and can't really do any harm.
