So I managed to reach the end of week one today and it actually felt easier today than when I did the 1st one and I am less sore than I was after the 1st one. Sadly I am now back offshore for 3 weeks and doing 12h night shifts so will need to keep motivated and continue going to the gym for my run every other day.

Make sure you develop a really good stretching regime after each run - really helps with the muscle stiffness.

Well done. It does get easier as your body gets used to it although it takes a while. Try to keep it up which you're away and you'll be on Week 5 when you get back!!
