“Just a Little Run Around the World” by Rosie Swale Pope.
Okay, originally I was going to post a recommendation every Friday, but what with this quarantine thing going on, I can barely remember what day of the week it is right now. Pffft! So, later than advertised, here is another running related book I have read and enjoyed. And it is quite the story!
This lady ran/walked/staggered 20,000 miles around the world in memory of her deceased husband. She travels through Siberia and encounters wolves. This woman is both crazy and inspirational! The book is currently very cheap on Amazon, so if you need some escapism and entertainment, it could be the book for you!
Stay home, stay safe and keep running everyone.

😁 You are welcome. I am reading SO much now (not all running books though!), as it is a great distraction and takes my anxious mind away from things for a bit. Safe and well, thanks. Hope you and yours and doing well too. Running is such a soothing balm right now. 👍
Thanks again Sadie I’ll save your recommendation posts for after the Lockdown. We’re advised over here not to order anything online, unless its an essential item, so that our couriers aren’t over taxed. Sadly I’m missing all the UK running items sales (new leggings, etc are out for a bit) 😕 still waiting for my last running book which was shipped on 10 March boo hoo! Never mind a small price to pay.
I have actually finally finished the Pants of Perception (I'm not normally such a slow reader, it just seems as though reading took a back seat recently!), and I had a few problems with the writing style, but basically found it really fun and inspiring! So, thanks for that xxx
Oh you are welcome, dijep! I am racing to finish another one right now, by Scott Jurek. If it’s any good, and I read it in time, it could be this Friday’s recommended read. 😁👍 I cannot figure out if I am a reader that runs, or a runner that reads. 😂 xxx
