Hi everyone, I'm just about to head out for my first run. I'm really excited to get active. Do I take a water bottle with me or not? I started this guide last year, but never actually got to 5K, and can't really remember 😬.

Well done for starting.

You don't need to take water with you, just make sure you're properly hydrated beforehand and afterwards. It's only half an hour so it's fine.

Thank you!

Not for me. I don't think you need water for any of the programme. I wish you well because the programme is epic. Keep going and don't give in. You can do it!

Thanks for the support!

I take 500ml out with me, if only to take small sips rather than glug. With sunny skies, personally I think it’s probably best to take something rather than nothing.

Good luck and well done.

Well done for starting the C25K. Once you get moving you won’t look back.

Well done! I find it’s a lot easier not to have to bother carrying water or just 30 mins away from home. Might be useful in6 months time tho!

Welcome back. If have been drinking enough fluids during the day, you shouldn’t need to carry water. But have you tried running early in the day, when it’s cooler. Keep safe and don’t forget to do social distancing.
