Just wondering what tracker app everyone uses? I’m wanting to see how far we’ve travelled and see a map (my son would like to keep a diary of the progress and routes)...
Can they be open in the background whilst running the podcast at the same time?
I downloaded ‘map my run’ last night but not used it yet, will this work or should I use a different one ?
Thank you xx

There are some crackers on there. See 'The Running Channel' on YouTube as it has a recent video on all the popular apps. I use Strava and Nike Run Club and you can have your music on simultaneously. Map my run is ok too. Good luck.
Used the tracker for the first time yesterday... great to be able to see a map which my boy loves but I hated when it interrupts the couch to 5k app to update you at every km.... especially when we are running at the time (because it pauses the app and I have to run for longer lol!!! )
Might try a new one tomorrow but I’m not very technical - week 4 run one done yesterday and a few tears from the young one at the end when he got stitch bless him ☹️
Bit late to reply but....I started c25k in Nov last year (but quit on week 9 due to Xmas parties etc) and used Map my Run with no problems.
I’ve just started c25k from the beginning again and have noticed Map my Run pauses c25k EVERY time I use it.
I’ve had a look in the map my run settings and there is an option to turn ‘voice feedback off’ in settings. I’ve just turned it off and will see if that solves it next time I run!! I struggle completing the runs without the extra few seconds it takes me to realise it’s on pause 😂
