Thank you so much, Willow and Sola. I normally do too but the battery went on my ear phones (or Nelle did her little trick) and next minute I was in silence. πππββοΈ
Iβve come off Facebook and thatβs made a big difference, since the virus pandemic, today is the first day without and it I feel amazing, I needed that time off phone and social media until I get better mentally , I can focus on real life and training , rather than obeying on my phone lol . Some good advice thank you x
Oh JenT88, well done. It rather sucks you in, doesnt it? Just a break is brilliant. Then a rationed connection time...with friends (for me that includes this platform). ππ
That's fantastic nilsam golden silence during running it really tunes you in to yourself ππ
Thank you so much, dieOR5k. I appreciate your support. Most of the time I think I must be "potty" and others may think so too. But luckily this is anonymous...ππTee hee.
But potty is so much fun, especially as you share it. There really are a lot of crazy people about, we just put our normal masks on for the general public so as not to scare the timid.
I think the allotment is brilliant and I was thrilled today to see a top of a beetroot seedling (grown in shed with a window). So therapeutic, I agree.
First time running this week as I have been walking with husband as my one time out. Difficult decision.
At least the treadmill is there if you fancy it. Happy running if you go tomorrow. πββοΈππ
Thatβs SO hilarious!!!! I read the original post and thought βeerie newbiesβ?!?! That sounds an unusually judgmental comment to find on C25K forumβ π³
I am now laughing my head off at your correction!! π€£π€£π€£ happy running Roxdog
Love your paintings Nilsam and the lovely sentiments as always. I love quirky and different - makes life way more interesting. Keep up the great posts!
Great! Nelle has the right idea. I ran without music for the first time on my consolidation run yesterday. My husband, who ran with me, pointed out it would be a bit unsocial of me if I was wired for sound when we were suppoed to be running "together". Point taken and he was right. It was lovely to hear all the birds and to natter a bit as we ran along.
I love my music, it helps to keep me sane. Definitely not using Facebook much now. It seems to be full of people telling me to stay at home, or wondering how far from home they can run and get away with it. Then the two groups argue. π
I have a couple of friends/ old work colleagues that I only keep in touch with on Facebook. I like to check in with them, especially as they're teachers trying to teach remotely. I only do it once a day now. Got to stay sane .
I think that is perfect. πThat is exactly the way it should be used...and I would love to have that discipline. But if I dip in, I find myself watching craft videos then reading ...then I have lost an hour. π
Er um, unfortunately not.....no excuses, Iβve been in a bit of a doldrums since being advised not to go out at all. But Iβve done a bit of gardening, some laps of the house, some drawing - so not all bad. Next week I WILL get my arse π³ into gear π
