Not run much lately and worried i will get fat and lazy with this not smoking lark so decided to walk to and from work, I would run but carry quite a heavy bag of files and my laptop, but my legs feel stronger than they used to do the running really makes a difference
Got caught up with things that had to be done as tomorrow a day off so was late leaving but caught the sunset on way home
Stay safe and run when you can

You’ve reminded me of the fact that it was my walking pace that changed noticeably through running, my running pace came later. Great way to come home... enjoy your day off.
Thank you i will, it’s granddaughters birthday so my daily run will pass her door to leave card flowers and vegan treats, this isn’t easy for anyone but 4 birthdays in 2 weeks makes me realize how much i miss those hugs
“Vegan treats”. I’d have seen that as an oxymoron like “fun run” a few years ago... but there’s some good vegan things out there now there’s more choice.
I swapped delicious fruit flapjacks for a piece of chocolate vegan cake which was really tasty, I passed Asda on the way and was going to buy flowers but the queue outside made me realise flowers can wait, we will celebrate with hugs when we can
Queued to get into Tesco today and it was quite pleasant in the sun... but not looking forward to it in torrential rain. I also got strange looks for doing some squats every time I moved forwards one slot. I’m not gonna stop though, the whole town could be doing it next week!!
Ah i love my squats and it just proved how worth it they are when i ran down a very steep hill with no hint of knee pain or quads ache the next day it was magic, just wish my feet didn’t keep getting sore though because if they were good i would be able to run for miles now
Queues will change over time, as I’m working Willow is chief shopper in our household now
