A few of the staff from my school are following this on YouTube - live-streamed at 9.00am each morning as a PE lesson for the nation's children and their families during this lockdown period.
I decided to check it out today and it is fab! Great fun and quite accessible and adaptable if needed. Joe is fab and very enthusiastic! π It definately gets the heart rate going and lifts your spirits, which is much need during these challenging times. Worth taking a look, especially if you have children and have not given it a go yet. I did it on my own (1 teenager still in bed πand the other getting ready to run!π) but our staff WhatsApp group all gave each other 'virtual high fives' afterwards!
We have made it part of our daily routine now though I am not sure how long our floorboards will take it - the bunny hops are not helping our poor old house! I think we burn as many calories laughing as we do working out, but that is a blessing right now.
This 45 year old will be doing a birthday workout today - never thought I would be saying that at the start of the year - thank you C25K and Covid 19!
I was a bit over ambitious on Tuesday and did his workout in the morning and then a HIIT class with weights in the evening. Yesterday I did his class and then a run - I have to remind myself that I only started getting fit in January so need to be gentle!
My calves are still feeling it after Monday's session!! But I think that's partly because I stupidly did it in bare feet on a hard floor π€ planning to do it in the morning though
