Great to be back to London for a run

Back to London for a weekend (I live abroad) and had a fab run on Wandsworth Common this morning, in the rain. There were so many dogs, dog walkers, runners, cyclists, kids football clubs and people out for a walk, it was great to see everyone getting that they want out of the common. Space is limited in so many other capital cities (including Paris) that it makes me realise how lucky we are in the UK. Anyway, it made do a couple of whoops, which everyone studiously ignored (so british!). And to the lady with the lovely springer spaniel who was frolicking in the mud....good luck with that when you get home ;-)
