I should have run yesterday, but had my stitches out, and was just not feeling it. This incomprehensible situation we all find ourselves in is draining. I’m immune suppressed, and it’s making me paranoid 😨
Anyway, I decided to not sit watching the never ending news this morning, and got my kecks on ready to go out. Decided not to have noise and just have a shortish jog and enjoy the environment. It was great, and got a few PB’s too, which I hadn’t noticed till Buddy34 pointed them out to me via Strava - to busy getting cooled down and eating lunch when I got back 🥪
Thanks Buddy, and happy running everybody 😁

Good work with the pb's Wenderwoo. Yes, it can be quite depressing if you keep watching the news. I'm at home and taking the opportunity to do lots (and I mean lots) of jobs I've been meaning to do for ages and cleaning and having a real good clear out.
On a brighter note - apparently the air in N York is getting cleaner because people aren't driving (or flying) which is probably happening all over the world. Result!
I don't know about you but I think I'm going to be looking forward to my runs even more now.
I hope to run tomorrow or do the parkrun route Saturday I bet there be a few people out on a Saturday morning running all this bad press about coronavirus doing my head in 😬😡🤣
It is a good idea to get out. It is scary and I think we have to face our fears (know that some are not unreasonable) but we then have to put them to one side and try and deal with our life and try and have pleasure. Certainly if we can get pleasure from a run it can help. 🏃♀️🤝🏃♀️
Well done you! I have a minor twinge of gout again so have not run since Tuesday morning which is really frustrating. Hopefully able to run / hike at the weekend.
