Having graduated a week ago I decided to give myself a small break this week. I struggled with time anyway as I’ve been away on a team meeting to Snowdonia in the most awful weather earlier in the week so with the better weather today I ventured out on my 1st consolidation run. What a treat, fastest 5k so far, 29mins and managed almost 6k in 34 mins. Lovely coastal run along the Millennium coast path in Llanelli and the sunset was sublime!!
Here’s to Run 2 in a few days time.
Think I’m going to treat myself to a new Garmin watch , happy days...

Lovely photo Hymertrails; what a beautiful place to run. It sounds like your running legs appreciated their extra few days rest and have paid you back handsomely with a great run and a great time too. Well done!
Thank you. I've found myself mulling over new routes to run whilst I'm running. I want to head away from my home routes and head off towards a few further from home. I'd love to go to the coast and run there.
Thanks Buddy34, I’m pleased with that for my 3rd ever 5k. I use my old Fitbit for running but my eyesight is not as good as it could be and when I’m jigging around the text is hard to read! I could be running a 4 minute mile for all I know😂😂😂
