Had an amusing run today, in that I got an odd mix of music on my shuffle. It was a much appreciated distraction as my tummy was a bit achy plus I was still dehydrated from a very busy day yesterday. This run was going to be a challenge.
First to appear was Rage Against the Machine "Killing in the Name Of" which coaxed me into a fierce strut for my warm up. I meant business!
Next Julio Iglesias, Begin the Beguin! ๐ How random! I nearly laughed out loud! I had a grin on my face, at least.
ELO Wild West Hero, hadn't heard that in ages. I was in the feel-good zone and then my Radio 1 workout mixes came on with some pumping beats.
An eclectic mix, for sure, but it just goes to show that listening to music can be a help to get through what was otherwise a potentially difficult run. I took it slow, lost myself in the tunes and had plenty of water to drink when I got back.
Looking forward to the challenge of W6R3 this Friday!

Well done, music does make a huge difference and that shuffle can be fun when you donโt know whatโs coming next
On mine amongst a lot of old favourites i have a few of the early songs my partner wrote including the one he wrote for me when we first met and a fun cheesy christmas song he wrote with my grands to entertain them one december day years ago, imagine my smile when Itโs Christmas blasted my ears in the middle of july ๐
Music is fab for inspiring us and spurring us on. I swear by Led Zep when the going gets tough. Halvalla I am coming ๐ช๐๐๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
My tunes often make me laugh out loud Shakiraโs wherever whenever (or similar ๐) always makes me twitter
Iโve got a pipe and drum tune too which is the music of Arnhem Bridge (to me anyway) So I find that dead inspiring as thatโs where I first heard it.
Whatever it takes to get us over the line. Iโve even got the theme song from High Noon Do not forsake me oh my darlin ๐๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
