W2R3 done despite minor issues

Confident about the run (jogšŸ˜‚) today.

However, when on the warmup walk I noticed my left Achilles area seemed tight and a little painful...

Should I stop?

Decided to jog slowly and see how it went.

Loosened up and went fine.

Then, I realised i was dressed too warmly!

Jacket off and tied up ( kept slipping and was awkward- but kept going!)

Then my water bottles I kept falling out my ā€˜running beltā€™.. šŸ˜­šŸ˜­

Found secure pockets and kept going!

The wind? Didnā€™t matter.

The mud? Iā€™ve learned to go round it!

Stitches? I laugh at them... well actually I donā€™t laugh- I do deep breathingšŸ˜‚

The last run I upped the pace to a fast jog and can see how much I have to improvešŸ˜‚

But Iā€™m confident that week 3 and the 3 minute runs are achievable.

Roll on Friday!

Tight Achilles...........stretch immediately after every run while muscles are still warmand supple, as advised in the guide to the plan.

Water bottles............you don't need to carry water for D25k workouts, especially at this time of year.

You don't have to go faster..........keep to a comfortable pace at which you can speak clearly as you run.

Sounds like a good learning experience.

again and began to run for the remainder of the 30 minutes, this time extending my run by around 10...
