W8R1 Wet foot but otherwise loved it!

Well another one in the bag, tough start as had to start uphill but once in my stride it was good, still slow but keeping going. About 10 mins in Tia got stranded behind 2 very big dogs (friendly but a bit intimidating) I turned round and ran backwards while I called her and stepped back into a puddle that came up to my ankle!! The joys of forest running in the winter. However I do count myself really lucky to have this beautiful place on my doorstep, 400 yards from door to forest even if it feels somewhat vertical at times!!

Sounds perfect running territory to me, even the verticals! Think I’d have gone over if I’d been going backwards into a puddle like that!

Haha, yes, in the past I probably would have, hopefully that I didn’t means I’m getting a bit fitter!!

Great you are finding your stride, and even with a wet foot (oops!) enjoying your run and your wonderful location 😁
