Got up to see if it was raining heavily and it wasn’t. So decided that it was a run day woohoo.

Quickly got ready did a few stretches and out I went. By this time it was raining but only slightly however at the bottom of the close we were flooded 🌊. So quick change of route back up the close to the cut and down into the village I went. Paths were wet and full of puddles so I had WET FEET 👣. I decided to go down to the river to see how full it was. It was a raging torrent but the bridge was still passable so over I went. The paths on the other side of the river are covered with leaves which hides the puddles so my feet and shoes were now sodden. On I ploughed. I didn’t realise that W6R1 had 3 little runs 🤔🤔🤔. A few brave dog walkers were out and I think Ed looked at me like I was a bit mad because by now it was torrential rain but I carried on trying to work out the best way home. Got back looking like a drowned rat but happy to have completed the run. Now wondering how I’m going to get to table tennis 🏓 with main road still flooded.

It is very annoying for any reason that a runners or walkers route is flooded, especially during this very wet weather, well done to you Scruff55 on running run 1 of week 6 despite the mud and all the puddles, I just hope that you got dried out before your table tennis 🎾

Yes managed to get to table tennis eventually just stuffing my shoes to dry them out. I’m nicely dry now 🙏🙏🙏

Being wet is quite a feature of this running lark. Keep warm though as cold and wet is ‘orrible 🥶. Layers are our friend 😀
