First 5k in years!!

Having finished c25k a few months ago now, I never actually covered 5k in my 30 minutes (which I know is perfectly normal!!).

The last few weeks I've been trying to stretch out one of my runs, keeping it nice and slow 🐌🐌🐌 And tonight it just clicked! I kept going longer than I had planned - and think I could have done more but knew I shouldn't push myself too much.

I ran for somewhere between 45-50 mins I think, and covered a little over 5k in that time! πŸ₯³

And so what if it's literally twice the time Mr Parky would take to run 5k!! πŸ˜‚

Congratulations on that 5K run Parky88,

you almost ran 6K, so your husband can run a 5K in half of your time, probably at sub 25 minute 5K pace, the next time both of you are out running a 5K, just ask him to run at YOUR paceπŸ‘πŸƒπŸΎπŸ˜Š

Or she could just tie his shoelaces together when he's not looking πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‚
