W5R3 (woop woop) and then W6R1 today ... in the rain, again

Did W5R3 on Monday evening but didn't get to post it because ...life. That run felt really good to reach 20 mins! So chuffed!

W6R1 today and it was wet and windy - took a lot of willpower to force myself out the door but as they say - you never regret a run! Fortunately, I bought a waterproof running jacket that was on sale at Decathlon after last Thursday's run in the snow. I'm really pleased I did as it was fairly chucking it out there.

Happy running everyone - stay dry!

Amazing, congratulations on finishing week 5 and the first run of week 6, well done, particularly with the weather seemingly against you. You definitely deserve to be chuffed.

Hopefully you won't need the waterproof for too much longer and we will be able to run in some sunshine soon. ☔🚫🌞🌞🌞👍

Well done again, keep us posted with how you are getting on and happy running 😊🏃

Thanks! Starting to see signs of spring and there's sunshine today - we just gotta hang in there a little longer!

Well done! I need to buy a waterproof! Isn't it hot though? I ran in short sleeves this morning!

Wow, very impressed. 👍I know what you mean though...I have tried layering up and you end up unpeeling as you go along or ending up very red faced. 👎

Thanks Roxdog. It's made for running so it is fairly thin and well vented. I'd been running in a cycling jacket before this and that got very hot and sweaty whereas this one was great and didn't have that problem at all.
