Congratulations on joining the program, prepare to amaze yourself. Biggest single piece of advice you will get is that it's not a race and speed is not important. The whole point of the C25K is to build stamina and get you running for 30 minutes. Keep it slow and if you are finding it difficult slow down some more. :-)

Trust me I will be slow. I have just recovered from having pneumonia, so want to improve my health

Welcome to the gang!

Yep, as Rigpig says, just take it nice and slow.

No prizes for speed here.

Let us know how you get on.

Welcome and good luck on the start of your journey. You will have good and bad runs in the weeks ahead but if you follow the app you will succeed. This group is very encouraging so do check in if you need some positivity.

I just did my first run and I feel ok as well. I am not a runner 🏃‍♀️ but I really want to get fit and shed a bit of weight. I want to do a triathlon in May. I will follow your progress!!

Good luck. I’d never run, or ever wanted to! I only have two runs to go. If I can do it, you can. Trust the programme

That sounds just like me. I had always sworn blind I wouldn't do running!
