Week 1 done, got a little easier as it went on and the muscle burn wasnt as severe on run 3. Dreading weekend 2 but know I can do it.
Found a good help for the aching muscles, arnica gel nice rub of that after your shower and it does wonders

You can do it! Never thought I would be able to do it, but just done 2 x 8 minute runs on W5. If I can, anyone can!

As SueAppleRun says, if it feels really tough then drop your pace a little - the focus is on completing the timed intervals and not pace at this stage. This will increase naturally with time and can be worked on after graduation, if that's what you choose! 🙂

You can do it and you will do it, congratulations on completing run 3 of week 1, just take all the runs slowly, onwards and upwards to week 2.

Now, take a couple of rest days, let your muscles recover and off you go again.
