Good morning everyone I was thinking about treating myself to a watch when I graduate lol can anyone give me any advice on a good one thank you 😊

I quite fancy the Garmin Forerunner Music. It has storage for music, so it means you no longer have to carry a phone around with you. But, I won't treat myself until I've completed the plan and have established that I can actually run ☺

I’m certainly not a techy person my self, but I think it depends what you want, there is a huge variety out there. All I ever wanted was a record of my runs, nothing else......... I’ve got a Garmin forerunner 10, (they don’t do them this basic anymore 😂) measures distance, pace, time, you can do pacing with it, e.g have a target pace - I’ve never used that.

It then uploads to Garmin webpages and you can track your runs etc.,

I think Garmin still do a fairly basic one, but it probably includes things like heart rate etc.,

Having said that, when this one keels over, I will be after one that does music, I have bone conductor earphones (which are brill) and having just the watch and Bluetooth earphones would be great. The watches do loads of other fancy stuff too these days, like smartphones really.......a lot of which you don’t really need, but just depends on what’s important to you.

Have fun researching, it’ll be exciting seeing what’s out there......
