I hope it's just a coincidence...

but after my run on Monday morning in the pouring rain, dark and cold I have developed a nasty cough, sore throat and general malaise. I'm hoping that I caught it from someone at work, lot of people coughing and spluttering, because I really enjoyed running in the rain. Going to have to think twice next time. Overdue to do my second run of week 4 because of work and family commitments, was going to do it tomorrow morning but may have to give it a miss until I feel better. Boo!

Oh dear! I don't think getting wet and cold gives us colds, just germs! Hopefully it won't last long, but colds are horrible!

Turns out to be the worst cold/flu I've had in years. Can't remember feeling this rotten and it seems to be getting worse. Doesn't help that I'm just not sleeping either. If it hasn't improved by the end of the weekend then on the phone to NHS 111
