I'm sure, like me, you'll discover the prospect proves far worse than the execution. Start your run at a nice slow steady pace. Don't get over ambitious. The sense of achievement, once completed, results in a rather smug feeling. I also thought that it's at this stage, you start to consider yourself a runner.

The programme has trained you for this - your body is ready and it’s only your head telling you it’s not possible. You will have already run for 2 lots of 8 mins with a brisk walk between and that was longer than 20 mins in total.

Maybe break it down into 5 min chunks and think that’s 5 mins done, just 3 more, 2 more,1 more of those left. Take a different route or have a comedy podcast to listen to while you run. We all thought we cdnt do and we all did.

You can do it. Make sure you hydrate well the previous day and enjoy your run and then come back and post to let us know how it goes. 👍😁

Well done on running 15 (FIFTEEN!) minutes! Next is 16 (SIXTEEN!) so 20 should be no problem whatsoever :-)

I’m terrified of w5r3 also. We’ll just do and redo until we can. No biggie.
